They're those corners of the world that you just can't get out of your mind. Places so special, or just plain weird, that they take on their own personalities. National Geographic scoured the United States to include just such places in its ZipUSA series.
This month visit Greenwich, Connecticut, where great wealth and all its trappings are more the rule than the exception. Other zips in the works range from Talladega, Alabama, where a special institute prepares the state's blind and deaf for the world's sights and sounds, to Wiscasset, Maine, where worms are big business.
