Primates Jack Wolford (leaping) and Jeff Price (dangling) gave in to their wild sides when photographer Robert Clark needed to check lighting for an upcoming shot. Later, animal talents Jacob the chimp and the sloth replaced their human relatives on the stage for the real photo shoot. "Jacob was very personable," says Wolford, who was thrilled when the animal walked over and shook his hand. Meanwhile, once the sloth replaced Price on the trapeze, "he just hung there upside-down the entire day, hardly moving," Wolford says. "Very sloth-like." [See pages 8-9 in the April NGM.]
