An Artist's Eye Photograph by Larry Nighswander
Despite the glorious weather outside, Regina H. Boone was drawn indoors to the Passion Works Studio, a place where adults with developmental disabilities can express themselves through art. There she spotted Harry Grimm. "This man was taking his time to pick each color really carefully and put it down in the exact spot he wanted," says Boone. "He was totally enthralled in his work, and that's why I was drawn to him." Like many of her classmates, Boone hopes to become a photojournalist to "tell the stories of people who are unable to get their stories told." |
