Back Again Photograph by Karen Kasmauski
Like stamps in a passport, inscriptions on the robes of these pilgrims tell many tales: when they climbed Mount Fuji; at which stations, or rest areas, they stopped to catch their breath (and get their orange stamps); what shrines on the mountain they visited. But how these four men, who are around 70, managed to climb Fuji yet againwell, thats another story. |
