Linwood Gunter, known to colleagues as Tap, center, takes a much-needed break during a typical day’s work cleaning fish at the Virgo Fish House along the Maine Avenue Fish Wharf. Benjamin Edwards, Virgo’s part owner, foreground, still comes in occasionally though he’s officially retired after 32 years. “We don’t make a lot of money down here,” says Edwards, “but we have a good time trying.” |
