During a one-day Holy Week celebration called La Pesca a boy relaxes in the Cascades near the town of Tapijulapa in southern Mexico. Almost all local streams are part of a hydrological system that feeds sulfur through a nearby cave, which has attracted much scientific interest. Hundreds of villagers from the area make a pilgrimage to Cueva de Villa Luz (Cave of the Lighted House) to gather fish in cave pools, bolstering diets until their crops ripen.
